pacmansysck

pacmansysck is an Arch Linux tool designed to check your system for missing files. It is licensed under GPLv3.

It is a simple Bash script which calls pacman for data retrieving. Here's how it works:

• it gets the list of all files owned by a package with pacman -Ql
• it checks file by file if it exists
• if there are missing files:
  • it creates a list of packages that should be re-installed
  • it checks for every package of this list if it can be re-installed pacman -S
  • it launches pacman for you :)
